Many of these tracks were written during the first COVID-19 Lockdown from March to June 2020. I was inspired initally from artists such as London Grammar that make use of muted yet clean guitar. Beyond the Horizon was the first of the tracks to be written. Ocean Ripples was written from a balcony of a house in Mevagissey that overlooked the coastline on a beautiful summer's evening. I was initially inspired by the view of the harbour and the coastine but as they day progressed, the rhythmic piano was inspired from the sounds of playing children and laughter.
